Preface
Nenghua Semiconductor has introduced a 45W LED driver reference design, which features a single-stage high PF flyback configuration with primary-side feedback. Eliminating the need for optocouplers and output current sensing circuits, this design achieves constant voltage control at the primary stage, resulting in a simplified circuit, streamlined design, and reduced costs.
This LED power supply employs the CE65H600TOEI depletion-mode gallium nitride switching transistor from Nuvoton Semiconductor, packaged in a TO252 format. The device features a rated voltage withstand of 650V and a peak voltage withstand of 800V. The power supply supports an input range of 176-264Vac, delivers an output of 54V at 0.9A, and achieves a conversion efficiency of 90.5%. The Nenghua 45W high PF gallium nitride LED driver power DEMO adopts a flat and ultra-thin design, which is compatible with the ultra-thin design requirements of LED cabinet lights. The gallium nitride AC-DC part is very compact, and the blank PCB part can reserve sufficient space for the later DC-DC flicker circuit and DALI intelligent dimming circuit. The overall thickness control of the DEMO is excellent.
