Vishay introduces the new PHP series of precision high-power thin-film chip resistors

Recently, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. announced the launch of a new PHP series of precision high-power thin-film surface mount resistors. These devices have an absolute TCR as low as ± 25ppm/℃, a tolerance as low as ± 0.1%, and a high power level of 1.0-2.5W over a wide temperature range of -55 ℃ to+125 ℃.diode

The devices released today use stable thin films with performance characteristics of 1000ppm even after 2000 hours of operation at+70 ℃, optimized for high-precision medical imaging, industry, communication, as well as testing and measurement instruments and equipment.diode

The PHP series surface mount resistors use high-purity ceramic substrates and are designed with larger joints on the back to reduce the thermal resistance between the top resistance layer and the solder joints on the end user circuit board.

The PHP series offers two external dimensions, 1206 and 2512, with a resistance range of 10 Ω to 30k Ω, and provides non-standard resistance values. The power level of these resistors is twice that of traditional thin-film surface mount resistors of the same size, with a noise level of less than -30dB, a voltage coefficient of 0.1ppm/V, and a voltage level of 100V to 200V.
