Testing method for thermistor
1. Simple series measurement
The most basic method of measuring a thermistor is to connect it in series with an AD7416ARZ-REEL7 resistor with a known resistance value and apply a stable voltage. By measuring the voltage across the thermistor, its resistance value can be calculated. This method is simple and easy to implement, but its accuracy is limited by the precision of the voltage source and measuring instruments.diode
2. Bridge circuit
The use of Wheatstone bridge circuit can improve the accuracy of measurement. Using a thermistor as part of a bridge circuit, balance the circuit by adjusting other resistors in the bridge circuit. In equilibrium, the resistance value of the thermistor can be accurately calculated by the output voltage of the bridge circuit. This method is suitable for situations that require high-precision measurements.diode
3. Digital measurement controlled by microprocessor
In modern applications, the resistance value of thermistors is often measured through microprocessors and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). This method first connects the thermistor to a stable reference voltage source, and then measures the voltage across the thermistor through an ADCdiode
