① Fault diagnosis. During engine operation, when the intake manifold pressure sensor malfunctions, the ECU can detect the fault, store it, and put the engine into a faulty operating state. By using the V.A.G1551 or V.A.61552 fault diagnosis instruments provided by FAW Volkswagen, relevant fault information can be read through the fault diagnosis socket, providing convenience for troubleshooting. The difference between the fault diagnosis instrument V.A 61551 and V.A.Gl552 is that the former has a printing function that can print relevant information, while the latter does not have a printing function.diode

② Resistance check. Turn off the ignition switch, unplug the ECU harness connector and the manifold pressure sensor harness connector. Use the R × 1 gear of a multimeter to check the resistance between the relevant terminals of the ECU and sensor, and the resistance should meet the values specified in Table 41. If the resistance is too high or infinite, it indicates poor contact or open circuit between the wire harness and the terminal, and maintenance should be carried out. When conducting a resistance check, refer to Figure 6.diode
