Increase output current

In applications where a 15mA output current is insufficient to drive the required load, the output current can be increased by paralleling two or more OPA445s, as shown in Figure 4. Amplifier A1 is the main amplifier and can be configured in almost any operational amplifier circuit. The amplifier A2 is configured as a unity gain buffer. Alternatively, external output transistors can be used to increase the output current. The circuit in Figure 5 can provide an output current of up to 1A.diode
