5. Forward and reverse peak voltage VRM

The peak reverse voltage allowed for a diode to operate normally is usually two-thirds or slightly smaller than the VRM of VP.

6. Reverse current IR

The reverse current value flowing through the diode  under the specified reverse voltage conditions

7. Junction capacitance C

Junction capacitance includes capacitance and diffusion capacitance. When used in high-frequency situations, it is required that the junction capacitance be less than a certain specified value.

4、 Commonly used crystal diodes

1. Rectifier diode

The diode that rectifies AC power into DC current is called a rectifying diode. It is a surface coupled power device with a large junction capacitance, resulting in a low operating frequency.

Usually, diode s with an IF of over 1 ampere are packaged in a metal shell to facilitate heat dissipation; All plastic packaging is used for IF below 1 ampere (see Figure 2).
