Crystal diodes can generally be used for over 100000 hours. But if used improperly, it cannot fully function and may even be quickly damaged. To use diodes reasonably, it is necessary to master their main parameters, as parameters reflect quality and characteristics.

Maximum operating frequency fM (MC) - the highest frequency that a diodes can withstand. If the frequency of the PN junction AC is higher than this value, the diode connection cannot work properly.

Maximum reverse operating voltage VRM (V) - the maximum allowable reverse voltage for a diode to operate normally for a long time. If this value is exceeded, there is a possibility of breakdown of the PN junction. For AC power, the highest reverse operating voltage is the highest operating voltage of the diode.

Maximum rectified current IOM (mA) - the maximum forward current that a diodes can operate normally for a long time. Because when current passes through a diode, it generates heat, and if the forward current exceeds this value, there is a risk of the diode burning out. So when using diodes for rectification, the forward current flowing through the diode (i.e. output DC) is not allowed to exceed the maximum rectified current.
