A Fast Recovery Diode (FRD) is a semiconductor device specifically designed to quickly switch from a conducting state to a cutoff state in a circuit. Compared to traditional rectifier Diode, fast recovery diodes have a shorter reverse recovery time (TRR), which makes them very suitable for high-frequency and high-speed switching applications, such as switching power supplies, EPM7256ATETC100-7 frequency converters, and power electronic conversion devices.
